Tico n Frens (previously known as Tico Crossing) is an Animal Crossing inspired personal project, and a collaborative effort between me and my Twitch chat where I make new character designs as they help me choose species, color palette, personality, style, and catchphrase that I draw on the spot.
Originally inspired by a drawing meme, this project has been a creative outlet for me and my friends to continue drawing together, and inspire ideas with each other. Over the last year, we have created 7 characters, turned our mascot into stickers and animated emotes, and the project continuously caters creativity as we try to try new styles and new design direction for these frens.
